Our Personal Protective Equipment Face Shields are specially designed to protect frontline workers in their fight against the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), helping to protect them from infection and minimising the spread of the Coronavirus.

Wiley X has been a global leader in the protective eyewear market supplying military forces and law enforcement personnel with top of the line safety-rated eyewear. Realising the need to protect their clients during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic Wiley X in Europe has partnered up with their factory supply network to supply Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Face Shields for protection against the COVID-19 virus.

Please note, these face shields are not Wiley X branded products. Wiley X are putting their support and backing behind these face shields to support and protect front line workers in their fight against the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Our Face Shield are tested and certified through the EU norm testing method to meet the following specifications:

Question: Can we change the logo in the front of the face shield?

Answer: Only for orders over 100,000 pieces.

 

Question: Can we order a sample?

Answer: Not currently. The few samples we had are prioritized for the hospitals that we are working with.

 

Question: What documentation do you have on the face shields?

Answer: PDF test report can be forwarded. The face shield has passed the following: EN 1186-3:2002, EN1186-14:2002 and EN13130-1:2004.

 

Question: Your offered price is that fixed and if yes for what period?

Answer: Currently we the cost is fixed. Timeframes are pointed out in the “Running Order” form and email. Therefore, we require you to make your reservations. Due to the volatility of the market, price increases may occur.

 

Question: Does the face shield fit different head sizes?

Answer: Yes, the face shield features an elastic strap that makes it a “one size fits all” product.

 

Question: Can the face shield be cleaned?

Answer: Material integrity cant be guaranteed when subjected to a disinfection process which is typically performed at 85 degrees and lasting 3 minutes.

 

Question: What is the country of origin?

Answer: The products are made in China.

 

Question: Can you let me know an approximate due date for the first delivery to yourselves?

Answer: This depends on the number of orders that we are receiving, but the orders are coming fast now and we expect to order the first batch this week and then we hope/expect the goods to arrive at our warehouse towards the end of May.

 

Question: Do the shield have front tear-off protection when delivered?

Answer: Yes, the product is delivered with a tear-off film on the front.

 

Question: Does it have any certification for use as a medical protection aid?

Answer: No, please request the test rapport for specific information.

 

Question: Will the products have a label or certificate according to the EU certification norm?

Answer: The product is not marked or labelled.

 

Question: What are the dimensions on the face shield?

Answer: The face shield is 33cm x 22cm, and head foam is 3cm deep/thick.

 

Question: Does it come in different colours?

Answer: No. All orders under 100,000 pieces will look like those in the images and description. On orders over 100,000 pieces, the front colour can be specified and a custom logo printed at no extra cost.

 

Question: Is the face shields single packed?

Answer: Yes, the products are single packed in a plastic bag.

 

Question: Is the face shield made by Wiley X?

Answer: No. The face shield is not a Wiley X branded item, but produced by a factory in their standard supply chain.

 

Question: What is the production capacity?

Answer: The production capacity per day is 100,000 pieces.

 

Question: Are you also optimally protected against COVID-19 if you wear a sabre or gravity under a face shield?

Answer: We are not the experts in the COVID-19 virus and the way that it spreads. We do not have an internal professional doctor’s opinion on this type of question, so we cannot, and will not give a binding answer to this question.
